we are a retail store, our interior design service is a
special service for customers who seek guidance in their
selection of products through The Cottage. We urge you
to familiarize yourself with our furnishings before hiring us
to design your home. Our designers can assist with
furniture selection, window treatments, rugs, accents,
wallpaper or paint colors, preventing you from making
costly mistakes on your own.
A one-time minimal flat
fee is charged for an in-home
consultation. Our designers take measurements and pictures
and discuss how you wish to utilize your space, what pieces
you wish to keep and the budget for your purchases at The
Cottage. From there, we invite you to the store for a couple of
decision-making meetings where you are presented with floor
plans and actual solutions. If the solutions are agreeable, we
move forward to the purchasing phase of that project.
